New jotters!
On the cover, in big clear letters, write:

Your name
English - Mr Curtin
Class S3
08/09

On the inside cover, write the same thing again.

For the first entry, write the date (22/8) in the margin, and then directly below the date draw a box in the margin, two lines high, and write the number one:

• Every day when you take notes you will write the date and the next number. This is like having numbered pages, except everyone writes at different sizes. This will be an easy way for you to find your notes and your work, because it will all be referenced on this site.

Now write What I will need in class every day on the line next to the date.
